MATTED DOGS

From time to time life gets in the way and sadly your pet doesn’t get brushed as much as it should. We, as a team are incredibly used to seeing dogs that come in heavily matted. From our point of view, we don’t care how your dog has got in this condition, our job is to make your pet feel comfortable and matt free. Clipping of a matted dog IS NOT an easy task, we do not know what is going on underneath the matts, we do not know if there are any injuries that are already there, any scabs that may be knocked off during being clipped, we are literally working blindfolded when removing matts as we do not know what is going on underneath the skin.

Matts pull on the skin, they restrict movement of your dog, they can course other health issues such as irritated skin and infections. Parasites can also be hidden in the matted fur. Matting is painful for your dog.

I get incredibly frustrated when we are made out to be the bad guys.. Its not mine or my teams fault that your dog has become matted, my job and passion is to make sure your dog is matt free and comfortable, as I said, I do not care how it has happened, We are here to help and make your dog pain free.
